HISTORY OF IMPC

 

Intel Credit Cooperative Incorporated was organized on March 21, 1978 with an initial membership of 25 and starting fixed deposit of P2,500 and the initial capital lent by Intel worth P50,000.00.  Its primary purpose was to encourage savings and promote thrift among, as well as extend loans to members.  Among its pioneer members are Leticia Alcasid, Oscar Alcausin, Eduardo Arriola, Orlando Corpuz, Antonio Fernandez, Eduardo Flores, Raymundo Guzman, Honesto Ladores, Danilo Llamas, Rosario Madamba, Danilo Mangilinan, Gilbert Martires, Reylindo Ortega, Efren Pangilinan, Edgardo Paynor, Cesar Quaison, Antonio Reyes, Erico delos Reyes, Faustino Salamanca, Godofredo delos Santos, Jesus Silva, Antonio Sison, Rizal Ting, Weixler Vila and Cielito Zulaybar.

The Intel Credit Cooperative, Inc is registered with the Bureau of Cooperative Development as primary level cooperative society last August 8, 1978 with registration number R-IV-P-059. 

On  July 23 & 25, 2005 the ICCI membership approved the conversion of Intel Credit Cooperative to Intel Multi Purpose Cooperative (IMPC) thru the effort and leadership of ICC BOD members namely Frederick Pano, Nicolas Caranzo, Roselily Uy, Florante Molina, Liliosa Esguerra, Leticia Baldueza, Marcos Canovas, Jamaica Paulino, Steven Ralph Ostrea, Manuelito Chua and its General Manager Norma Guhiting.
